PATH PARTNERS GOES NATIONAL

Expands Presence into City of Dallas

(Los Angeles) – PATH Partners, a regional organization widely known for integrating housing and support services for homeless individuals, announced plans to expand into the City of Dallas. Having recently entered into contract with Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (MDHA), PATH Partners will implement its “services-to-housing” models which place an emphasis on transitioning homeless individuals into permanent affordable housing opportunities.

“This new venture is an exciting partnership to address homelessness in Dallas,” says Joel John Roberts, CEO of PATH Partners. “We look forward to working with the community; but more importantly, we hope to reach more people in need.”

Over 6,000 individuals experience homelessness on any given night in the City of Dallas. In 2003, voters passed a $3 million dollar bond to begin development of a new one-stop multi-service Homeless Assistance Center. In 2005, an additional bond was approved to complete its construction. Slated to open April 2008, the new 57,000 square-foot center will provide an accessible entry point for homeless individuals looking to get off the streets and begin new lives of self-sufficiency.
