PRESS RELEASE

"HUGS" GIVEN FOR MOTHER'S DAY TO BENEFIT HOMELESS MOTHERS . . .

April 17, 2007

(LOS ANGELES) -- People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) is offering a Mother's Day gift you can really put your arms around.

The Mother's Day Hugs campaign is PATH's way to honor a special woman while helping homeless mothers and their children. For each "hug" donated, a beautiful card will be sent to the donor's designated "Special Someone" to let them know a gift has been made to assist homeless mothers and children in need. In addition, the name of the honored woman will be added to the Hugs Tribute Page on the PATH website (www.epath.org.)

PATH suggests donations beginning at $25, although any sized "hug" is gratefully appreciated and accepted. Gifts will go towards helping PATH assist homeless mothers and their children break the cycle of homeless through finding work, saving money, and securing housing.

"As a mother myself, I know the power of a hug in sending love and comforting those in need. By joining me in giving a Hug this Mother's Day, you will show homeless mothers and children at PATH that someone truly cares for them and that they have not been overlooked," said Janet Ganaway, executive director of PATH.

Since 1984, PATH Partners and its family of agencies have been committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing services and building housing for people in need. Now a regional organization with national influence, PATH Partners also helps communities integrate support services with permanent housing through capacity-building, creative partnerships and community mobilization."
