PRESS RELEASE

"Hugs" is the Mother's Day Wish of People Assisting The Homeless

April 25, 2006

(LOS ANGELES) -- People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) is offering a Mother's Day (May 14) gift you can really get your arms around.

The "Hugs Campaign" is the non-profit organization's way to honor a special woman while helping homeless moms and their children move toward self-sufficiency.

For each "hug" donated, a card will be sent to a "special someone" to let them know their love has been passed on to a person in need. In addition, the name of this special woman will be added to the "Hugs" Tribute Page on the PATH website (www.epath.org) as an acknowledgement of any gift made in her name.

PATH suggests donations beginning at $25 for warm hugs. Bear hugs, gratitude hugs, friendship hugs or any other hugs are gratefully accepted to help PATH assist homeless mothers and their children break the cycle of homelessness through finding work, saving money and securing housing. City National Bank is the sponsor of the "Hugs Campaign."

"This Mother's Day, please join me and hundreds of others in sending a loving hug to embrace homeless mothers and their families. Your support means the world to them and will show them that they are cherished and not forgotten," said Rhonda Fleming Carlson, actress and philanthropist.

PATH, founded in 1984, is a non-profit community agency that seeks to empower homeless people with the tools for self-sufficiency and serves 17,000 people annually in Southern California.
