Laker and Sparks Players and the Laker Girls Serve up a Helping of Thanksgiving Cheer to 200 Homeless and Needy Families at People Assisting the Homeless Saturday, Nov. 22

WHAT: The Los Angeles Laker Organization annual Thanksgiving dinner
for homeless and otherwise needy families. Free Thanksgiving meal
groceries will be given out to 200 people by Lakers and Sparks players
and team representatives.


WHEN: Saturday, November 22 (2:30-4 p.m.)


WHERE: The Regional Headquarters of People Assisting The Homeless
(PATH), 340 North Madison Avenue, Los Angeles 90004 (2 blocks east
of Vermont and � block north of Beverly Blvd.).


WHO: Laker and Sparks players (TBA) and the Laker Girls interacting
with upwards of 200 family members served by PATH and those from
the surrounding community.


The Laker Organization is providing an interactive fun zone for
the children.


WHAT ELSE: PATH is a non-profit community-based organization that
empowers homeless people with the tools to regain self-sufficiency.
It assists some 17,000 people annually in Southern California overcome
homelessness, find work, secure housing and otherwise find the means
to reclaim their lives.
