Instead of waiting for people to come to us for housing and services, we go to them. Our street outreach teams travel throughout California, making connections with people living on the streets and providing much-needed support and referrals. If you are homeless, or have encountered someone who is homeless and in need of assistance, contacting PATH's outreach team is an important first step.
|Outreach workers build relationships with people living on the streets, providing trusted advice and resources.
Our outreach teams work with communities throughout California to address homelessness where it is the most dire: on the streets. Contact with an outreach worker is the critical first step towards a new life for many people who spend their nights outside.
PATH's street outreach teams provide homeless men, women, and families living on the streets with sack lunches, hygiene supplies, and referrals to housing and supportive services. Outreach workers focus on building relationships with people living on the streets, which allows them to provide trusted advice and resources while working to help people move off the street and into homes of their own.
The team also works with local police, businesses, and concerned citizens to mediate interactions with homeless individuals and ensure that the needs of the community and the homeless are met.
We operate focused outreach efforts in communities throughout California.
