PATH SD Center

Resources and support are critical for people who are working to get back on their feet.

We meet people "where they are," and work with them to achieve long-term stability.

Get Involved

PATHCooks: Grab up to 12 friends, plan a menu, buy the food and prepare a "home" cooked meal as a group in the kitchen of one of our housing facilities. Download the PATHCooks fact sheet to find out more.

Welcome Home Program: Help us fill our biggest need and gather a group of volunteers to fully furnish a recently housed client’s new home. With PATH staff support, you will organize your own “furniture drive” and coordinate to meet at a client’s home to help decorate with the donations you raised. Visit the program page for more information.

Furniture and Household Needs: One of our primary needs is finding groups of volunteers to create Welcome Home Kits. Click here for our most updated fact sheet. Additionally, if you have larger furniture items to donate, such as couches, please email us and we can refer you to our community partner, Team AmVets.

Sack Lunches: Our interim housing facility in Downtown San Diego is always in need of lunches for our clients! We have 150 residents at this facility, so we ask you and your group to prepare approximately 150 lunches to ensure everyone has a meal. Due to limited staff capacity, we also ask volunteers to assemble sacked lunches off-site and contact us to schedule a drop-off. For more information, please refer to the Lunches for Bunches fact sheet here.

Hygiene Kits: Our street outreach teams have a great need for Hygiene Kits while building relationships with clients looking to enroll in our programs. These products go directly to prospective clients living near our San Diego facility. Please review our fact sheet with more information on what items are most needed and how to package the kits.

Driver Program: Use your car for a cause! Sign up to become a PATH Volunteer Driver and help increase the amount of fresh produce provided at our interim housing facilities. Download the program fact sheet for more information.
