Family Programs

In 1996, a group of social workers and child advocates gathered together with the shared vision of creating a safe, nurturing home environment where at-risk young families could flourish. Today, PATH Gramercy is a professionally staffed, private non-profit corporation providing service-enriched, affordable housing and licensed childcare to single parent families.

"Because a child's first steps should happen at home."

Gramercy Family Center

The Gramercy Family Center provides full-day care and a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children living in Gramercy Court and the local community. Members of PATH Gramercy’s staff work with families to create a positive, child-centered living and learning environment that fosters self-esteem, relationship building, creativity, diversity and good communication. As one of very few licensed childcare centers serving low-income families in the area, the Gramercy Family Center empowers each child with hands-on, developmentally-appropriate learning experiences that promote literacy and build the skills necessary for future success.
