Have a couple hours here and there to give back? Here are a few of the rewarding ways to partner with PATH as a volunteer and be a catalyst for change in your community.
Lunches for Bunches - Help prepare lunches for the residents of our interim living facilities. Download the Lunches for Bunches fact sheet to find out more.
PATHCooks - Grab up to 12 friends, plan a menu, buy the food and prepare a "home" cooked meal as a group in the kitchen of one of our housing facilities. Download the PATHCooks fact sheet to find out more.
Welcome Home Kits- Want to help furnish a client’s home, but don’t have a lot of time? You can also assemble Welcome Home Kits with smaller household items for our social workers to distribute. Download the Welcome Home Kit fact sheet for next steps.
Hygiene Kit Drive - Organize a "Hygiene Kit" drive to collect personal care items for individuals living on the streets. Download the Hygiene Kit fact sheet to find out more.
Special Projects - We are always in need of people looking to get involved in special projects like events, holiday parties and more. Join our mailing list to be notified of upcoming projects.
Want to spend a few days a month helping your community? There are a number of longer term and rewarding ways to partner with PATH.
Welcome Home Program – Help us fill our biggest need and gather a group of volunteers to fully furnish a recently housed client’s new home. With PATH staff support, you will organize your own “furniture drive” and coordinate to meet at a client’s home to help decorate with the donations you raised. Volunteer Ambassador - During our PATH Cooks Volunteer program, the volunteer amasadors will be on-site to create a warm and welcoming environment for our volunteers to successfully do thier work. They will be the liasion between the PATH case management staff at the facility and our volunteers, who are preparing meals. Download the Volunteer Ambassador fact sheet for more information.
Driver Program- Use your car for a cause! Sign up to become a PATH Volunteer Driver and help increase the amount of fresh produce provided at our interim housing facilities. Download the program fact sheet for more information.
Share your passion with us - Are you a certified yoga instructor, personal chef, or computer expert? Share your skills and passion with our clients!
One volunteer, Free, already took sharing her cooking skills to a whole new level and created her very own Adopt a Kitchen program here at PATH. Click here if you are a nutritional cook interested in joining Free’s program.

Fundraise For Us- Anyone can hold a fundraiser. Whether you are a company executive, mom, dad, kid, sports enthusiast or a community group. Organize an event or dedicate your special occasion to PATH. Email us for ideas or more information.
Internships - PATH offers a number of internship opportunities from social services, to development, and community outreach. Our internships provide invaluable experience at one of California's most prominent nonprofits focused on providing sustainable solutions to ending homelessness.
