Donation Items

If you are interested in making an in-kind donation, please contact pathvolunteers@epath.org. At this time we don't have the storage space to accept certain in-kind donations, however we do rely heavily on our community partners to help manage and redistribute these items for our clients. Please see below for details.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited resources, we are unable to pick up donations. Donation deliveries to PATH locations must be coordinated with our Development Associates. We appreciate your understanding.

Below, we have listed some items we always need:
  • HYGIENE PRODUCTS. Hairbrushes, combs, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, lotions, shampoo & conditioner, mouthwash, toothpaste, soap, shaving products, cosmetics. All hygiene products must be new and unopened. Small, travel- and sample-sized products are preferred. See Hygiene Kit Fact Sheet here

  • HOME ITEMS and KITCHENWARE. We are in need of larger furniture and home items for residents who are moving into their new apartments. We need your help to turn these apartments into homes. Please download our Welcome Home Kit fact sheet to learn about how you can help transform someone's new apartment. For individual items please donate them to our partners Team AmVets.
  • TRANSPORTATION. Gas cards and bus tokens.

  • GIFT CARDS. $10 increments for chain grocery and department stores like Ralph’s, Target, and Wal-Mart. We provide these cards to our residents when they move into their own apartments.
  • FOOD. If you would like to donate perishable food items, please call (323) 644-2242 before delivering your donation. We are also always in need of volunteer groups to provide entire meals for the residents of our facilities. For unperishable items, please refer to our community partner, SOVA.
  • CLOTHING. Each year, the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) gives away more than 85,000 items to over 5,000 needy individuals by partnering with 20 social services agencies, including PATH. Help our clients by donating clothes to NCJW. For more information on NCJW, call: 1-800-400-6259
