Planned gifts can take
on many forms,

cash, securities/stocks, artwork, real estate, life insurance policies, retirement plans, personal property and more.

Donation Items

If you are interested in making an in-kind donation, please contact At this time we don't have the storage space to accept certain in-kind donations, however we do rely heavily on our community partners to help manage and redistribute these items for our clients. Please see below for details. 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited resources, we are unable to pick up donations. Donation deliveries to PATH locations must be coordinated with our Development Associates. We appreciate your understanding.

Below, we have listed some items we always need:
  • HYGIENE PRODUCTS. Hairbrushes, combs, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, lotions, shampoo & conditioner, mouthwash, toothpaste, soap, shaving products, cosmetics. All hygiene products must be new and unopened. Small, travel- and sample-sized products are preferred. See Hygiene Kit fact Sheet here
  • HOME ITEMS. Please refer to our Welcome Home Kit  fact sheet for donation items that we accept. We accept any of these items new or gently used. Items may be assembled in kits or donated individually. Drop offs must be scheduled prior at (323) 644-2242.
  • TRANSPORTATION. Gas cards and bus tokens.

  • GIFT CARDS. $10 increments for chain grocery and department stores like Ralph’s, Target, and Wal-Mart. We provide these cards to our residents when they move into their own apartments.

  • OTHER ITEMS. Backpacks, sleeping bags

  • FOOD. Nonperishable items, bulk food items and dried goods. Please call (323) 644-2242 before delivering your donation if you would like to donate perishable food items. We are also always in need of volunteer groups to provide entire meals for the residents of our facilities. For unperishable items, please refer to our community partner SOVA.
  • LARGE FURNITURE ITEMSWe are always in need of larger furniture and home items for residents who are moving into their new apartments. If you would like to donate large furniture items, like bed frames or couches, please contact or (323) 644-2242 to coordinate a pick up or drop off in Los Angeles. Please note that we cannot redistribute used or gently used mattresses
