Educational and Employment Assistance
PATHFinders Job Centers: Full-service
employment centers that offer homeless individuals resources to develop
employable skills, conduct a successful job search and obtain permanent
employment. Job centers are located in South Central Los Angeles, Hollywood,
and West Los Angeles.
PATHAcademy: A collaborative
program to equip homeless individuals with the educational and job
resources they need to succeed. The following services are available:
basic skills/GED preparation courses, computer software training,
job preparation workshops, and vocational training programs. Participants
can receive certification in warehouse, forklift programs.
Health Services
PATHHealth: The PATHHealth Clinic
is a state-licensed free community clinic that provides homeless adults
and children with urgent medical care, primary and preventative care,
health education and referrals to speciality care. The clinic provides
threatment services in partnership with JWCH Institute, Inc. and offers
screenings and other preventative care through the Mobile Clinic operated
by Valley Community Clinic. The clinic also partners with QueensCare,
Hollywood/Wilshire Health Center and several other community health
partners to provide individuals with coordinated services for chronic
diseases and other specialized care.
Supportive Social Services
PATHMall : A collaboration
of 19 community and government social services organizations that provide
a range of services and resources for the homeless population. Some
Mall partners include: Gateways Mental Health Clinic, CLARE Foundation,
Travelers Aid Society of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Department
of Social Services and the Vera Brown Personal Care Center.
PATHAlumni Club: Open to all PATH graduates, the
Club provides formerly homeless individuals access to supportive services such
as workshops, employment resources and special quarterly events.
